ORPHANAGE

Dear Donors,

As salamou aleikoum wa rahmatûLlahi wa bârakatuh

Bismillah.

We are calling upon you to gather 10,000 euros for an orphanage of young girls, aged 3 to 18 years old who are orphans, in Thailand. They are memorizing the Qur'an, al hamdoulillah, but they live in an overwhelming tropical heat.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"I and the one who takes care of an orphan will be in Paradise like this."

Then he brought his index finger and middle finger together.

Today, we have the opportunity to participate in an immense cause for Muslim orphan girls living in southern Thailand.

This orphanage welcomes young girls aged 3 to 18 years old. Despite the trials they have gone through, they are growing up in the learning of their religion and dedicate their time to memorizing the Qur'an.

Thailand is a country with a tropical climate where heat and humidity are particularly challenging throughout the year. In the dormitories and study rooms of the orphanage, temperatures sometimes become very difficult to bear. The young girls sleep, study, and live in stifling heat. Fans are no longer enough and can pose a danger to the smallest ones.

How can one concentrate, sleep, or study the Qur'an in an overheated room exposed to the heat? Your donation is coolness, dignity, and safety for them.

For these orphans, having air conditioning is not a superficial comfort. It is a real need that will allow them to sleep better, to preserve their health, to concentrate in their studies, and to memorize the Book of Allah in better conditions.

Allah ﷻ says:

"As for the orphan, do not repel him."

(Surah Ad-Duha, verse 9)

This is a noble cause: to support orphan girls so that they can learn and live peacefully.

"They ask you about orphans. Say: "Improving their condition is the best action."

Qur'an, 2:220

We are therefore launching a fundraising campaign of 10,000 € in order to finance the installation of air conditioners in the dormitories and learning spaces.
